Meet Doula Jo(rdan)

I felt I needed a proper introduction so, ahem..

I'm Jordan. I'm a current student studying marriage and family therapy. I love hot sauce, chocolate, and Old Navy's clearance section. Oh, and I have the coolest pet rat ever. His name is Oliver and he's the most dapper rodent alive. :)

Ever since I was a teeny little girl I have been intrigued with child birth and babies. I spent a lot of time watching "A Baby Story" on TLC too. (I wonder if that's why my brothers never came in my bedroom..)

That passion for babies grew and grew and I spent a lot of my time nurturing and aiding in raising babies all around me. My love for babies and passion for women's rights is what led me to become a doula. Being a care taker is a part of my make up. I've known for a long time I was meant to do this. I've seen first hand how valuable support is and every person needs to be validated in life. Whether it's in deciding on a university or becoming a parent. As women and their partners prepare for their family to grow, I want to be there for them. Rocking mom's hips during labor, reassuring partners that mom is okay, or even sitting in silence with you. I want to be there...for you.

My ultimate goal is to spread light and happiness across this world. And I believe I'm doing that..one happy momma at a time..
