Who's Doula Jo?
I am a DONA trained birth doula, providing prenatal, birth, and postpartum care. I am originally from Chicago, Illinois and now reside in the Northwest suburbs. I seek to help families of all backgrounds have a beautiful and memorable birth experience. I use song, massage, acupressure, aromas, and breathing techniques to help alleviate pain during labor and to create a helpful child birth experience. My passion for women studies and child birth is what inspired me to become a doula. I have spent countless hours raising children as a nanny and supporting families as their family grows. With this knowledge of care giving and a service filled heart, I hope to care for you and yours as you step into a new world with a few extra feet in tow...
